I am a big fan of Gamejams. After organizing a few jams within our university discord, i decided to create a new discord community for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (so the language there is german) only about gamejams. The Server launched in 2022 and since then we created more than 75 games within gamejams. Right now nearly 400 jammers joined the server and we are growing every week.
Together with my Mod-Team we arrange teambuilding events for some selected jams, where we create mostly 3-4 teams which then get their corresponding channels on our server to use for the duration of the jam.
Since 2023 we also participate at the GlobalGameJam as a remote only site.
